Why Aren’t You Doing Checkrides?
I surrendered my Designation because I found that despite reducing my monthly checkride schedule, I was having trouble managing the number of events I was going to (many that didn’t start) and my own currency (once again going to checkouts at schools but being unable to complete it due to missing aircraft, unairworthy aircraft or even instructors not showing) in conjunction with my primary employment at my airline. While some delays were welcomed and warranted (discontinues due to weather or fatigue) many of the extra checkride/flight days were taking weeks to reschedule and replacing time with loved ones.
